Village dawah

From the town to the koro.

Our teams travel to villages and settlements, share the message of the One God over a talanoa, and stay with the people who embrace Islam. Teaching, gathering and coming back.

How village dawah works

Every visit is about the long term: the people we meet today are the teachers of tomorrow.

Share

Visits and small group talks with families, answering questions about God, Jesus and the purpose of life, always with respect for village protocol.

Teach

For those who embrace Islam: wudhu, prayer and Al-Fatihah, then regular classes and the Arabic letters.

Stay

Follow-up visits, Friday Jumu'ah together, and a dawah centre close by where new Muslims can learn and pray.

Wainibuka, Tailevu

A village that opened its doors.

In the hills of Wainibuka, our team has been visiting Naitutuvatu village. Many families there have embraced Islam, and new Muslims travel to the dawah centre at Nasaibitu to learn and pray together.

Classes for new Muslims

Regular classes so every new Muslim learns to pray and read, with brothers teaching brothers and sisters teaching sisters.

New Muslim Support

From the village to the town

Village visits and town dawah tables go together: many first conversations start at a table in town.
